009FAIR- TRADEGOTS SUPPLY CHAINSFROM EUROPE, FOR EUROPERELIABLY RECYCLEDSOCIALSocial standards are important to us, far beyond European borders %u2013 we ensure compliance with the ILO core labour standard and have been a member of amfori BSCI since 2009.Traded fairly and manufactured according to established social, ecological and economic criteria %u2013 this is important to us.The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a leading global standard for processing textiles made from organic natural fibres. It defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain, as well as social criteria for businesses. HALFAR%u00ae itself is also audited according to GOTS. In addition, 100% of our organic cotton products are produced to GOTS standards.We love the European idea. We want to strengthen development in Europe, safeguard employment and promote cohesion and intercultural exchange. It%u2019s important for us to work with companies across the EU, to share these values and stand up for fair conditions.We are always looking for alternatives that are even more sustainable, like recycled materials such as rPET. They help to save resources. We use the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), a standard to which we have been certified since 2021.
